February Half term

Half term adventure at Kents Cavern. Explore the prehistoric caves with guided cave tours. Interactive stone age zone.

The spectacular steam train is open from February half term through to November. This beautiful journey runs from Paignton along the coast to Goodrington Sands, Churston and on to Kingswear. Take in the stunning scenery with seascapes right across Lyme Bay on clear days.

Paignton zoo is home to over 2,000 animals set over 80 acres of grounds. This is a place to discover & explore nature & the wildlife.

Other attractions include: Babbacombe Model village, AMF bowling, Berry Head nature reserve, Cockington Country Park. Explore the beautiful gardens at Greenway. Discover walking on the amazing coastline & beaches across the bay, collecting sea shells or just running along the sand.

Brixham Pirate Festival

This amazing event takes place early May bank holiday weekend. A hugely popular celebration of all things pirate-themed & fun for all the family.

Torbay Air Show 2026

Dates for 2026 now announced! 29th to 31st May 2026. This spectacular event returns this year. Breath taking air displays, including the Red Arrows, over the beautiful bay. This is one not to be missed! Book early to avoid disappointment for this amazing weekend.

Walking Festival

The English Riviera walking festival will take place across the bay from 6th - 21st June. Join in to discover the beautiful hidden treasures from local guides in South Devon.

Summer 2026

There are numerous events happening in Paignton & across the Bay over the summer months including fun fairs & carousel rides, the amazing extreme circus, car shows, motorbike enthusiasts get togethers, fire work displays, charity carnival procession & many family events on the seafront.

Agatha Christie Festival

From 12th - 20th September the English Riviera becomes a celebration of the birth place of one of the most famous creators of mystery novels. Get involved with literary themed events including murder mystery afternoon teas, exhibitions & talks + music events.

Fireworks and Bonfire

A fantastic collection of bonfire & firework displays across Torbay for 2026.
